Looking back at 2008 and moving forward to 2009

From the water district’s system of charging their subscribers from their employees’ inefficiency, the CAP’s refusal to fulfill their obligations and the government’s indifference to the plight of the plan holders.
I have also blogged about how uninformed employees of Jollibee don’t know the mechanics of their promo. And this even has a follow-up because Jollibee keeps on calling me. Of course, my latest post about a fastfood was an incident brought about by a request for an extra ketchup.
Being a former banker, I know what to expect when I am on the receiving end of the service. That’s why I was so disappointed when I opened an account at PNB, and I was surprised when I was charged for a check deposit at BDO.

We went to PNB (Philippine National Bank) today to open accounts. My sister in Canada who’s helping me migrate there is sending money for me to use in the processing of my papers. Unfortunately, her choice of bank is PNB. Why unfortunately? You’ll see why as you read on.
