After freeing 2 convicted killers last February and taking EDSA Revolution for granted, the administration has put another blow on the Aquino’s as 10 more convicts in the Aquino-Galman case are freed!

It is definitely a sign the opportunity for truth to come out will go down the drain.

Yes, I agree with most people, the convicted soldiers have already suffered. I believe it was their choice. They took part in the crime, and worst they choose to remain in silence… keeping all the truth behind the act all to themselves.

Former President Corazon Aquino may have already forgiven them, but it doesn’t mean there is no need to find out the truth.

Will the truth ever come out?

With the signing of Proclamation No. 1699 declaring the official list of Philippine holidays for 2009, I can’t help but ask, how was EDSA Revolution omitted from the list?

Correct me if I am wrong, but was it in the time of Cory Aquino or Fidel Ramos that February 25 was already included in the official list of Philippine holidays? Or was it just being declared a special holiday every year then?

At any rate, we all know that EDSA Revolution is a significant part of our country’s history. How come it was not included in the list signed by President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. This is not the first time that she did not honor the memory of that day by not declaring it a holiday.

Is it too insignificant for her?

Was it intentional?
