Is it safe to autoload yet?

I used to load my prepaid cellphone as I was getting inquiries on my personalized items every now and then, especially my personalized chocolate bars. My network provider is Globe, and I was having no problem as far as communicating with others is concerned, both with Globe and those with other network.
But one day, I noticed upon inquiry of my balance on 222, my load balance is not correct. What’s worse is that, I inquired it again after a few minutes, I got a different balance and this time it’s much lower than the first one.
Eventually, my load balance became zero, nil, and I haven’t sent a text nor called anybody. My reaction - GLOBE IS STEALING MY LOAD!
My eldest son, Ralph, told me that this problem is because of hackers. I didn’t get it, I asked him to explain it to me. Some cellphone techies are doing something on their unit, tweaking some codes or commands and presto! They can get the load of any cellphone that has it.
Is Globe aware of this? He said they are, he asked to call ‘customer service‘ (oh!oh! there’s that customer service again), and report it to them. I didn’t report my cellphone, I don’t want to talk to idiots anymore and ruin my day. I just don’t load my cellphone anymore.
Why is Globe letting this things happen? I really don’t understand this, is this really possible? I believe that every text and call from any unit passes through a mainframe and therefore, they should be able to monitor this… unless, they have something to do about it.
An unsuspecting subscriber would always load his unit just to be able to connect with his friends and relatives, only to find out that he has lost his cellphone load already. And then, he will buy more load… which means more sales… more income… and the same cycle will repeat.
I could be wrong, but why is this thing happening?! Just imagine, if this thing can happen to your loads, shouldn’t you be worried with your G-Cash as well?!
That’s even worse, because that’s money already. I guess, I won’t load G-Cash anymore too. It seems nothing is safe with Globe at this time. To think that I have given a fair G-Cash review before.
Seriously, I’m considering transferring to another mobile network because of this.

I think almost all providers have the same problem. My children also complains that “kinain” ng smart ang load nila.
what?! pati smart! tsk! tsk! mukhang naka-timing ang red a

hi Mel!
I have already joined there. I am registered as Roy, The Struggling Blogger
I recently had an experience na na-expire yung load prior to actual expiry date. Since malaki yung na-expire na load I complained to customer service. What I find is that yung 50 pesos minsan umaabot ng 7 days (5 days lang dapat) samantalang yung big amount ko on the exact 2nd month. Anyway, ni-reverse naman nila and since via autoload may napasama ulit na 85 free texts… hehe…
IMHO, if there is a worm na kakain ng load, it can be done by the systems’ own programmers since your load credits are residing at their servers… so outside hackers? maybe not…
exactly. i’m sure alam nila yun, and they allow it - para mas madalas kang magpaload?
(ka-ching!)
correction: “What I find funny…”
Just to add… whether malaki or maliit yung load na kinain you should complain to customer service… it should be about the principle and not the amount…
Calling GMA… wag puntiryahin na maging free or 0.50 ang text… dapat tanggaling na lang ang expiry date ng load…
Good AM, parekoy! Breakfast muna…
ok parekoy, thanks!
eto nman sa akin. ng load ako ng 30pesos sa saturday. i checked it monday night may 20 pesos pa. today tuesday. nawala na. ilang days po ba ung 30 pesos na load? sayang naman ang 20 ko, tinipid ko na nga kinain pa ng globe. naging loyal naman ako sa globe di nga ako pumapalit ng sim i still use the same number since 2001 pa.
wow, that’s really bad, getting your load stolen and Globe cannot do anything about it. Lagi namang ganyan ang Globe, cannot do anything. Me I made a mistake of sending gcash to a wrong number. The number is unregistered so that means he/she did not cashed-out my money yet. But Globe did not take immediate action when they can see in my records that the money is from me and that I am reporting a mistake, but still they did not help me.
They’re allowing other people to steal tsk tsk, what kind of business is that?
i had numerous occasions where i would load 50 bux on my prepaid globe sim and within 3 days or less my entire load would disappear without me using up all my load. why is this happening? has it been proven that this is due to hackers? if so is globe doing anything about it? like the poster above, i try to save my money by texting only a few times a week but what’s the point if my load gets used up all at once?? pambira!!!
Globe just ate my load for the 4th time. It usually happens when my balance is below P30. It’s really disappointing since I always maintain P20 so I can call my family in case of emergency. Now I have no choice but to transfer to smart.
ako din e! pinaload ako ng 50.00. . may 10.00 pa ako na extra load. . pag check ko sa balance, 60.00. .tapos may nag text sa akin na globe mms. . tapos pag check ko sa balnce. .45.00 nlng.
