“Within 24 hours sir” this was the promise of Digitel after making our payment last October 30, 2008 at their Nepo office. 96 hours and two calls to their customer service hotline later, still no internet connection.

I could have opted to change my internet service provider, but Digitel is too cunning. I have a two-year contract with them, if I terminate my internet service I will still be required to pay for the remaining number of months. Is that even legal?

If I don’t pay, even without my internet connection, my monthly dues will still pile up. Yes, that is Digitel’s system. Everything is always to their favor. Is that typical? Or is it because of the company’s owners?

That is the problem with most service companies, unless you start shouting at the top of your voice, your concern wouldn’t be attended to. Either that or you should be someone really important to be noticed.

Right now, I still don’t know how many 24 hours more will pass before I can get my internet connection back… if ever I get it back within my lifetime. I wonder if this can be elevated to DTI? (But then, that is another service institution isn’t it?)

    Hay naku kahit saan hindi talaga maganda services ng digitel either internet connection or phone kaya ipapaputol ko na sa bahay..

    ay talagang nakakaloka, puro nalang follow up ang sinasabi pero kulang sa actions. dapat dyn pa terminate na lalo na yung branch dito sa sta. rosa. Very POOR in service. Dapat pinaaalam ito sa pinaka president ng company, para ma bigyan agad ng action and termination doon s mga tamad na empleyado. Sayang ang binabayad ng mga subscribers, para sa internet of nothing. Ang pangit pangit ng service nila…..

    Yap! i believe in you guys. I just replaced my internet connection from smartbro to digitel bida broadband and hoping that i will get a better service but it turned out so disgusting. Problema kasi sa pldt naman e ang tagal bago maconnect sa bahay natin. about 1 month ir longer daw sabi ng agent. ang digitel, ang bilis mag install pero ang bagal pala ng serbisyo. hay naku ang bulok talaga nila. 512 kbps yung sakin pero mas mabilis pa yata ang cp ko sa pag browse.

    yung mga gustong mag pa cut ng service, 2 months lang babayaran mo at ok na. disregarded na yung contract.

    if your a subscriber ng internet sa digitel, check nyo mabuti ung binabayaran niyo. we had the digitel internet for years. been paying 1600++ per month for for 348 kbps. unlike other internet providers, automatic upgrade sa binabayaran mo or babawasan un ung fees mo dun sa latest rates. eto ang malupit, they wanted us to pay for a downgrading fee dahil mas mababa ung babayaran namin kesa sa 1mbps. when we finally had our subscription cut and paid all the necessary fees at that moment, aba may dumating na letter from their layers na may di daw kami binayaran na buwan. ung bill period namen was oct 20-nov 19. had the line disconnected nov 20. nakipag away pa kami dun kasi gusto nila one month notice before disconnection but they cant show us anything na may pinirmahan kaming ganun. so last dumating ung letter from their attorney. went there tapos ung antipatika nilang OIC, siya pa itong nagtaray. tinaasan pa ako ng kilay at wala man “po” at “opo”. ni wala man “good morning”. ang bati niya sa akin ay “mph.” bad service na nga, pati tao nila walang kwenta.

    same here. we’ve been experiencing bad services with this DIGITEL’s BIDA broadband… NOW lng ako nkpgbrowse ng mga comments about their services, akala ko kmi lng nkkranas ng knilang msamang serbisyo… mdlas! in every week, walang araw na hnde nawawalan kmi ng internet connection. pnay twag kmi s customer service, tpos ang sgot pnay checkup lng ng troubleshooting, pro wlang problem s computer… SUPER SAMA lng ng connection nila… lging gumgwa lng ng ALIBIS
